Fortunately, another student saw the post and reported it to school officials who contacted the police. Lititz Bureau of police was called to Warwick High School on Tuesday, Apr. 26, around 8:37 a.m., as stated in the release by the department.

"The high school was placed on a lock-down during the investigation of the threat," police say. The student who posted the threat was detained and no explosive devices were found in their backpack, according to the police.

After police consulted with the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office and the Office of Juvenile Probation, the student was released to their parents and they have been charged with the following: Terroristic Threats; and Threat to Use Weapons of Mass Destruction.

Further details were not released and the school has not made a statement on the events.
